FAQs
CONSULTATIONS & TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
-
Consultations at Little Injectable Co are designed to be thorough, personalised and clinically informed. Your appointment includes facial assessment, discussion around your concerns and treatment goals, relevant medical history, and a tailored treatment plan focused on balanced, natural-looking outcomes.
-
Not at all. Many patients choose to begin with a consultation only. This allows time to ask questions, understand treatment options and make informed decisions without pressure.
-
Yes. Patient safety, suitability and natural-looking outcomes are prioritised at every appointment. In some cases, conservative treatment, delaying treatment or no treatment may be the most appropriate recommendation.
-
Little Injectable Co is a nurse-led cosmetic injectable clinic in Christchurch focused on personalised care, facial harmony and subtle aesthetic outcomes. Appointments are intentionally unrushed, with a strong emphasis on patient education, clinical assessment and treatments tailored to the individual rather than trends.
-
Patient comfort is prioritised throughout treatment. Techniques, product selection and pacing are tailored carefully to support a calm and comfortable treatment experience wherever possible.
NATURAL-LOOKING RESULTS
-
The treatment philosophy at Little Injectable Co is centred around subtle, balanced and natural-looking results. Treatment plans are carefully tailored to support facial harmony while maintaining movement and expression.
-
Yes. Treatments are designed to refresh and support your natural features rather than dramatically alter them. The aim is for patients to still look like themselves — simply more rested, balanced or refreshed.
-
Achieving natural-looking results involves careful facial assessment, conservative treatment planning and respecting the structure and movement of the individual face. Treatments are approached gradually and strategically where appropriate.
ANTI-WRINKLE TREATMENT
-
Anti-wrinkle treatment is a prescription medicine used to temporarily relax targeted facial muscles, helping to soften lines associated with repetitive facial movement.
-
Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.
-
Patients commonly begin noticing changes within several days, with full treatment effect typically developing over approximately two weeks.
-
Treatment plans are tailored individually and can often soften muscle activity while still maintaining natural facial expression and movement.
-
Treatment plans are tailored Most patients tolerate treatment very well. Treatments are performed using very small needles and are generally quick and well tolerated. Some areas may feel more sensitive than others depending on the individual.
DERMAL FILLER & FACIAL BALANCE
-
Dermal filler is commonly used to support facial structure, restore volume and improve facial balance. Treatment areas may include lips, cheeks, chin, jawline and surrounding facial structures depending on individual assessment and suitability.
-
When approached conservatively and tailored appropriately to the individual face, dermal filler can produce subtle and balanced results.
-
Filler migration can occur in some circumstances, particularly when excessive product is used, treatments are performed too frequently, or an unsuitable filler product is selected for the area being treated. Careful assessment, appropriate product selection and conservative treatment planning help minimise this risk.
-
Many hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase where clinically appropriate.
-
Discomfort levels vary depending on the treatment area and individual sensitivity. Numbing agents and techniques to maximise comfort are used where appropriate, and treatment is approached as gently as possible.
SAFETY & CLINICAL STANDARDS
-
Yes. Cosmetic injectable treatments are medical procedures requiring clinical assessment, informed consent, anatomical knowledge and appropriate complication management processes.
-
Injector training and experience are important in areas such as facial assessment, anatomy, treatment planning, patient safety and complication recognition and management.
-
Patient safety is prioritised at every stage of treatment, beginning with thorough consultation, medical history assessment and careful treatment planning.
Little Injectable Co maintains appropriate clinical protocols, emergency processes and complication management supplies onsite in accordance with professional practice standards. Treatments are approached conservatively and with a strong focus on patient suitability, facial anatomy and natural-looking outcomes.

AFTERCARE & RECOVERY
-
Most cosmetic injectable treatments involve minimal downtime, however temporary swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising can occur depending on the treatment performed and the individual response.
-
Aftercare advice varies depending on treatment type, however patients may be advised to avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, alcohol and pressure on treated areas for a period following treatment.
-
Minor swelling or bruising is common and generally settles within several days, although this varies between individuals and treatment areas.
-
Patients are encouraged to contact the clinic with any concerns following treatment, particularly if experiencing unexpected pain, increasing swelling, skin colour changes or unusual symptoms.
